SUP Customs Offers Bottom Coating to LIVE Watersports Paddle Boards

services. Everyone knows us for our engine mounts and motors, but 90% of all of our customers do bottom coating. And remember, you don't have to run a skiff with us to do bottom coating — you just can just buy a paddle board and we bottom coat it for you, because that is a skiff accessory, the bottom coating. So this is our two boards. This is Austin's board, Landon my other son's new board. All my kids, instead of giving them a John Boat or something with a 50 horse, they get these to learn the waters. And honestly, these, these are

funner. But bottom coating is one of our biggest skiff services, with the added keel guard. And people like, well, I'm not running around oyster beds. And I got to be honest with you, oyster beds is like fourth or fifth on the list of why to do bottom coating. One is just to always protect your board on boat ramps, especially right now on the cement. One of my main reasons why I love the bottom coating is I don't have to be gel Co, gel coat expert. Over here I have a board not coated, because we're coating customer boards and not taking care of

ours right now. And here is my son's, and he got his coated because it was his birthday and he gets a birthday present. So, so I have two boards right here. And why I love about it is if I want to retouch this — and remember, when we coat it you get lifetime touch-ups, or once a year coating mail to you that you can do the hour of touch-ups, cuz we've already done the 8 n hour job of sanding it, taping it, doing everything. But we have two boards here. So when my gel coat over here goes off, I can coat this over the fiberglass. But here, when it

eventually rubs off in emergencies, or if I hit something hard, it was a sacrificial layer that protected my gel coat, and obviously the V fiberglass under the gel coat. So just a heads up here, it's not just about an oyster bed. You can touch this up yourself, and you don't have to be an expert. Also boat ramps. So I — oh, before I forget, it gives you 15% more speed paddling, 15% more speed motoring. That's really awesome too. But here I have his board, let me flip it over — I didn't want to mess with his top, hold on — and show you here. If I'm on a boat

ramp here, I got all this cement under me, especially these cements with this line, these lines for, for grip for boats. All right, there we go. So I'm here on a boat ramp, and I got that keel guard added. And I'm D, you know, I have maybe the Suspenz wheels back here with this keel guard added. Now you see this, now it's rubbing all in this keel guard. So that's why I recommend adding the keel guard to it as well. So anyways, just pulled my back out, so 55 lbs is too much. Anyways, so over here you see why have us bottom coat it, because then

if you want a board that you want five, six, seven years, and you can is constantly take care of it, you're dealing with coating and not having to figure out how to, how to gel coat. But then also, right here, what we're doing — we get a lot of emails about repairs, and we're not a repair shop. But if you're at home and you have a 8-year-old paddle board from LIVE, cuz they last that long, what you'll do is just put the keel guard right over all this, so all of the fiberglass is covered. I'd probably put some like Marine Tex on it, and then put your keel guard. And then

the keel guard doesn't stick to the coating. And then order our DIY kit — and we have a 30 minute long video of how to do it — and then coat around it, and then forever you can touch it up from there.
