Lock In Your Cast: Power Pole + GPS Trolling Motor on a SUP Customs Hybrid.

Hey everyone, David SUP Customs. Just finished an Appalachia Cola trip. We got some boards going to Texas and have some buddies running delivering up there for us and we're about to head back, coat some boards and head to South Carolina, North Carolina, Massachusetts, and do Austin and me are doing that delivery run. But anyways, just finished it up. Had a guy come out and do a his tunein day. And we're realizing that when got people come in and do the the test day to see if you want to buy one or you buy one, you get your free tune in day.

Hold on, these stinking flies biting us up. That we're actually sometimes they're asking more questions about fish fishing techniques than how to run the board. So people have been appreciating this. We're out here catching red fish mainly and trout. These bug jigs are just insane. They're like a fly for a spinning rod or bait caster when things are dead and slow. We've been putting this on on red fish's nose and they they've been hitting it. This is salt strong little mulligan off the bottom. Similar to to any sort of like soft plastic Ned rig been doing the job, but it's blowing.

I don't know. I don't think we can see the red flag, but we're at red flag today. So, that means it's it's crazy and these gifts are just this catamaran live water sports just slices through all this stuff. But wanted to give some example of how we manage our trolling motors and our micro poles. So, simply right now, hold on, guys. There we go. All right. So right now I have just on the auto but I have the spot lock on. So my my my micro pole is up. So I can only fish if I turn around I can fish in the back. But one little trick I do is I lower this microp pole and every GPS driven trolling motor will have this.

I turn on the nav mode on this or true north and then I'll point it this way to fish that. Let's say there's a where there is an oyster bed shelf right there. And with that locked down in the back now I can fish that oyster bed. I'll point that nav mode there. And now I can sit here and just be have my bow straight to where I want and fish that. Let me yank this in real quick. And then let's say I just want to fish over there. So I'll turn some call it true north. I'll point that direction. And what it's going to do, it's going to say I'm going to go this direction.

And now I can sit here and cast. So with that micro anchor being down in this setting here. And what I'll do is like now that I'm going with the current, it's a little too strong. I'll just hit number one out of 10 here. And it will just sit there. See it there? Let's say I'm I see I spot some school behind me. Now I can turn around, right? And I can fish off the back. Or I'm just going to do this. Watch this. I'm gonna turn it all the way around in nav mode. And it's telling the GPS, take me that way. Power it up because the wind's coming from that direction.

Microp pole still in. And it's I guess you can do this outside of a subcustom skip. I guess you can do this on anything. And we'll turn it down a little bit. And now I can cast anywhere in front of me. It's just a super cool way to fish these boards, especially when it's blowing, I don't know, 20 25 right now. It's insane. And it's just a really cool technique of why do you have all these tools on this? Because I want to be out here and I want to get the job done. I don't have a lot of be days, having five kids and and businesses and everything.

So, when I'm out here, I don't feel like pedaling paddling, you know, forever. If I want to exercise, I'll go to the gym. I want something that'll get me out here. If it's blowing 20, I can conquer it. If I need to go 10 miles, I can do it. But I can do it and I can divide tides. I can launch roadside. I can put this on a roof of a car or tailgate. Go.
