About this build

You've seen what SUP Customs has turned the best paddleboard in the world into. My son Austin (The SUP Angler) and I have been motorizing LIVE Watersports boards for years. Absolutely no one has logged the hours that we have. Through years of testing, fishing and real-world experience, we've engineered what is arguably one of the best portable skiffs on the market today.

These skiffs can be transported in the back of a truck bed, on a trailer or even on a car roof, and launched virtually anywhere with no boat ramp needed. The portability is only the beginning. Our engineered engine-transom technology combined with LIVE Watersports’ catamaran hull — designed by a world-record holder in catamaran boating — creates a tunnel hull that suctions to the water, locking the board down for incredible stability and making it extremely difficult to tip, even in rough conditions.

At only around 65 lbs hull weight with a 700 lb capacity, the L4 Expedition offers an unmatched balance of portability, performance and versatility. The catamaran tunnel hull runs shallow, stable and efficiently while still reaching impressive speeds with small, lightweight motors. There are endless ways to customize your rig so you can build something truly unique for your style of fishing, exploring or family adventures.

Getting it to you

We can meet you halfway or arrange a pickup. The shipping fee at checkout is a deposit toward the freight or delivery cost for your board, engine and accessories — and if you pick up locally in the Tampa Bay area, that fee is refunded. Warranty

LIVE Watersports boards come with a 12-month warranty — but the better number is that there hasn’t been a warranty issue in over six years.

How these are built

  • Every rig is custom-built to order, like buying a boat — nothing is pre-made or pulled off a shelf.
  • Minor blemishes are normal. These are handmade builds with extensive customization, and the finish work is done by hand.
  • Build timeframes, factory schedules, shipping estimates and delivery timelines can change. We don’t issue refunds for delays or revised estimates.

Payment & international

  • Credit cards are not accepted.
  • Prices and discounts apply to U.S. customers only.
  • Board and accessory discounts do not apply to international orders.
  • International customers are responsible for all taxes and import fees — call or email us for a custom quote.
  • We are currently looking for dealers.

Ultra shallow draft with the ability to stably stand, walk around and fish. Paddle it, motor it, drag it if you have to — skip the ramps and launch roadside.

A real stability test, start to finish

A real stability test, start to finish

Climbing around, poling and standing on the rails in skinny grass — the whole point is that we can show it without editing around the hard parts.
